Do your mattresses meet the Federal Flammability Standard CFR-1633 and how is this achieved?

Flame retardant standards on all mattresses except for our organic Willow mattress, are achieved by the addition of antimony formulated into the vinyl surface.  No boric acid is used in any of our products.

For Willow Natural Coconut Palm Crib Mattress, the the fabric does not contain any flame retardant additives.  The fire resistant property is achieved through a layer of thin cotton-like material manufactured under license of DuPont Chemical.  This layer of material is covered under the cotton fabric and does not come in contact with the users.   Moreover, we use a flame-resistant thread-- Kevlar T-60 to make our mattresses.
