Are the finishes and stains safe?

Our paint is ultra-safe. We exceed JPMA regulations and go through annual paint and stain tests. Paint is called safe when it has toxic materials under 300 parts per million [ppm].  For a company to claim low toxicity means they have paint with toxicity below 90 ppm.  Here at Million Dollar Baby, our paint levels come in at less than 2 ppm!

Our reputation is that we are the safest crib company in the world, and the finishes that we use are no exception.

    Hi Eric,

I am interested in purchasing a crib with a VOC-free and water-based finish. What exactly are the finishes on your cribs -- paint? Are they VOC-free and water-based? I am specifically interested in purchasing a Baby Mod Cadence crib. Also, is this crib completely free of formaldehyde? Is there any formaldehyde or toxic chemicals in the glue used to put the crib together?

I'm a first-time mom, so I'm naturally very nervous about making the best decisions for our baby!

    Thanks in advance!

I should add that I am interested in the Baby Mod Cadence Crib in honey oak. Does this crib have any PB or MDF? Thank you!

    Hi Eric,

I am also interested in the facts behind your finishes, specifically with regards to VOCs.  While the toxicity levels below 300 ppm, what toxins were tested for besides lead?  Are they the same for all your models?

Knowing that the mattress supports for all your full sized cribs are metal instead of MDF, and the cribs are 100% solid wood, a more comprehensive understanding of whether or not your finishes are glues are tested as low or no VOC is the only thing stopping me from running out and buying an MDB crib right away.

    Hope to hear soon, thanks!

This is true for all of your products, including the Baby Mod Parklane?  Is this the same crib as the Mercer?

I'm considering the Baby Mod Parklane crib. Can anyone tell me if the paint, glues, stains, etc. are the same as used with the babyletto mercer, etc? There is a lot of information about the safety standards for the babyletto mercer, however, I am looking at a baby mod Parklane which appears to be similar, but can't find any information that explains if it shares the same wood, paints, glues, stains, etc. and meets the same standards as the other brands. Is the drawer bottom the only part that is MDF and/or contains formaldahyde?

    thanks.

    Eric Jump,

Does the Baby Mod Parklane meet all of the same standards or is the Walmart exclusive stuff different?

    Thanks.
